This house was intended from the very start to be a technologically savvy, environmentally conscious structure. Careful consideration was given to the size of the home and its relationship to the landscape around it. The goal was to create an open, inviting home that could make good use of the passive heating and cooling strategies available, which in turn demoted the energy-demanding mechanized systems to a supporting role only.
