This 26,000sf unreinforced masonry building in the South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle is being converted from an auto repair shop into a mixed-use building with offices and an apartment upstairs, and retail and restaurant spaces downstairs. Special attention is being given to celebrating the majesty of this existing building —  with material and detail choices we are calling attention to the beauty of the brick exterior, heavy timber interior and overall historic character of the building.
